As the artist formerly known as Philip Jujitsu Brooks made a huge splash in Chicago on AEW Rampage, the internet broke, they renamed the “Road Warrior pop,” Tommy Dreamer fell in love with a crying guy, and wrestling fans fought in the streets over ice cream bars and banded t-shirts! I guess the dude really IS a cult of personality. As for the company that Punk shit all over in his return speech, WWE had their annual SummerSlam weekend, emanating partially from the city that never knew a Sunday, Las Vegas! On a Saturday night, WWE hosted a superspreader event of 56,000+ and feted 2 massive surprise returns of their own, resulting in 2 massive unsurprising burials. Our boys get back to formula this week by speaking with great zeal about the WTFamania that is WWE booking.
